Father Mena Fam was born in Egypt on December 4, 1958.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from Mansura University in 1982. Prior to his consecration and ordination, he worked as a pharmacist in his own pharmacy in Egypt from 1982 till 1990.
On November 25th 1990, he was ordained as a presbyter by Bishop Matthias to serve in the Diocese of El-Mahalla and was assigned to St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church. He then also served in other churches in the Diocese of El-Mahalla, St. Abanoub Coptic Orthodox Church and St. George Coptic Orthodox Church.
Since his coming to the USA in August 2001, he served at Archangels Michael and Gabriel Coptic Orthodox Church in Fresno, CA.
Most recently, His Grace Bishop Serapion assigned him to serve at St. Abanoub and St. Antony Coptic Orthodox Church.
