Father Joseph Gorgi was born on May 14, 1982. He was a pharmacist before he was called to the priesthood. His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Suriel, His Grace Bishop Abraham, and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos ordained him as Full Deacon on February 25, 2022, and then ordained him as presbyter on February 27, 2022 to serve at St. John Coptic Orthodox Church in West Covina, California.
