Father David Benjamin was born in Sohag, Egypt. He was a Pharmacist before he was called to the priesthood. His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos ordained him as Full Deacon on May 31, 2018, during the monthly clergy meeting and then ordained him as Presbyter on June 3, 2018, to serve at Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church in Santa Ana, California.
