Father Andrew Iskander was born and raised in Houston, TX.
He holds a B.S. in Food Science & Technology from Texas A&M University, an M.S. in Food Science from Kansas State University, and is completing the audit program at St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Seminary from the Diocese of the Southern United States. Prior to his consecration and ordination, he worked as a Product Quality Manager in California.
He previously served at St. Mary & Archangel Michael Church in Houston, St. Mina & St. Abanoub Church in Cincinnati, St. Mary Church in Atlanta, and St. Basil Church in San Diego.
In October 2016, he was ordained as a presbyter by His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion, and Their Graces Bishop Abraham and Bishop Kyrillos, to serve, initially, at St. Paul American Coptic Orthodox Church.
