Archdeacon Thomas Moussa was born in Egypt on July 30, 1942
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cairo University in 1964. He immigrated to the U.S. on February, 1969. He worked for the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) as a Civil Engineer. In 1974, he earned a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the California State University, and became a Registered Professional Engineer in 1975. He worked for Caltrans as a Project Engineer and Senior Transportation Engineer for 28 years.
He served as deacon at St. John Church in Covina. He was ordained as Deacon by His Grace Bishop Serapion on February 7, 2013, and then promoted to Archdeacon on March 17, 2013 to serve at St. John Church in Covina.
