On the 2nd Sunday of the blessed Coptic month of Babah, October 20, 2024, After the prayer of Reconciliation His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Danial – Bishop & Abbot of St. Paul Monastery, Red Sea, His Grace Bishop Abraham, His Grace Kyrillos, and His Grace Bishop Joseph – Bishop of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, laid hands on and ordained the blessed Deacon Mina Rofail, as a priest in the Christ Loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Los Angeles, California. He was given the name Fr. Mina Rofail.
The ordination took place at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Los Angeles, California.
Following the ordination, the new priest will proceede to St. Paul The Apostle Coptic Orthodox Monastery in Murrieta, California, to spend the 40 days. After spending the 40 days, Fr. Mina Rofail will return to start his ministry at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Los Angeles, California.
Participated in the Divine Liturgy were Presbyters: Fr. Samuel El-Baramousy and Fr. Rewies Antoun, and Archdeacon: Severus Mikhail.
