After presenting the readings for these feasts, the next chapter contains a thorough introduction to the Feast by our beloved father, the Thrice-Blessed His Holiness Pope Shenouda III. The following chapters include various excerpts from historical accounts of the discovery of the Holy Cross, as well as theological and biblical meditations on the Cross by the Fathers of the Church, with a special segment by one of the Catechetical Homilies attributed to St. Cyril of Jerusalem.
