The Diocese is pleased to announce the annual St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Theological Library Conference. The Conference will be presented by His Grace Bishop Serapion and Rev. Fr. George Dragas. This year’s topic will highlight “St. Cyril of Alexandria: A Model of Holiness in the Orthodox Tradition”.
The Conference will be held at St. John Coptic Orthodox Church on Friday July 9th and Saturday July 10th 2010. Youth are especially encouraged to attend Friday evening, while Saturday will also comprise the first annual Diocese Servant’s Meeting.
This year, the Library is also organizing a writing competition which will focus on the topic of “Christian virtues in the life of Saint Cyril”. Please visit http://www.copticlibrary.org/virtues for the writing competition requirements and details.
