With great joy, the Diocese announces the ordination of four candidates to the Holy Priesthood in November.
On Thursday, November 7, the blessed servant Dr. Anthony Shenouda will be ordained to the Holy Diaconate at the clergy meeting, which is to be held at St. Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church in San Diego.
On Sunday, November 10, he will be ordained to the Holy Priesthood at St. Maurice Coptic Orthodox Church by Their Graces, Bishop Serapion and Bishop Youssef to serve as a general priest at St. Marina Church (Irvine) and St. Paul Church (Irvine).
On the same day, Deacon Theophilus Paul and Deacon Antony Paul will also be ordained as celibate priests for the St. Paul Brotherhood.
On Saturday, November 9, the blessed servant Philip Maher will be ordained to the Holy Diaconate, and on Sunday, November 24, he will be ordained to the Holy Priesthood to serve at St. Abanoub and St. Antony Church (Norco).
