On Sunday February 17,2008 H.G. Bishop Serapion ordained Fr. Daniel Azer Sous to the rank of hegumen.
Also on the same day, the blessed servant, Rasem Farid was ordained as a priest for the Diocese of Los Angeles and given the name Fr. Youhanna.
The blessed ordinations was celebrated at St. George and St. Bishoy Church in Visalia, CA. H. G. Bishop Youssef, Bishop of the Southern United States participated in the blessed ordinations. After staying forty days at St. Bishoy Monastery in Egypt, the new priest will serve St. George and St. Bishoy Church in Visalia, CA. May Our Lord bless the ordination and grant the new priest the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the glory of His holy name.
