The Diocese is sponsoring a missionary service trip to Upper Egypt this year from June 30 to July 14 under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Serapion and the direct supervision of Reverend Father Abraam Megally and Reverend Father Daniel Habib.
The primary focus of this trip is service to our brethren in Sohag, Qus, and Naqada, and especially those in hospitals, orphanages, etc. under the guidance of the local hierarchs and clergy. The group will receive the blessing of staying at the Monastery of Abba Shenoute the Archimandrite in Sohag and even having a private meeting with His Holiness Pope Tawadros II.
The cost of the trip is approximately $1,700 and the deadline to register is May 4.
