Newport Beach, California – St. Athanasius & St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School (ACTS) held its 8th annual commencement ceremony to honor the graduating class of 2024. The ceremony took place on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00pm at its campus in Newport Beach.
His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion presided over the official ceremony. Participated in the ceremony His Grace Bishop Suriel, Professor at the Coptic Orthodox Theological Seminary of Pope Shenouda III in New Jersey State in USA, His Grace His Grace Bishop Abraham, Auxiliary Bishop in the Diocese of Los Angeles, His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, Auxiliary Bishop in the Diocese of Los Angeles and the Dean of St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School.
The graduating class of 2024 was recognized for their academic accomplishments and their embodiment of the school’s core values of Coptic orthodox faith, excellence, and service. Friends and family of the graduating class were invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate this milestone with the graduates.
