On the 7th week of the Great Lent Fast, the 14th day of the blessed month of Baramoudah, Monday, April 22, 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham, and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos laid hands on and ordained the blessed servant Mr. Samy Ibrahim, as Deacon Samuel Ibrahim for the Christ loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at St. Mary And St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church in Yorba Linda, California. The ordination took place at St. Mary And St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church.
Participated in the Divine Liturgy were: Hegumen Fr. Bishoy Brownfield, Hegumen Fr. Michael Gabriel, Hegumen Fr. Joseph Boules, Presbyter Fr. Mark Hanna, and Presbyter Fr. Andrew Hanna.
