On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishops Abraham laid hands on and ordained the blessed servant, Moheb Refela, as Deacon Mikhail for the Christ-loving Diocese of Los Angeles to serve at Archangel Michael in Santa Anna.
The ordination took place at Holy Virgin Mary and St. Pishoy Coptic Orthodox Church in Los Angels, as it was followed after by the Seniors Day event that was organized by the Diakonia Department.
Apart from our father His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion and His Grace Bishop Abraham, all or part of this blessed event was Hegumen Fr. Felimon Mikhail, Hegumen Fr. Meina Albeir, Hegumen Fr. Youhanna Ibrahim, and Presbyters Fr. James Soliman, Fr. Mark Hanna, Fr. George Aziz, Fr. Gawargious Hanna, Fr. Mina George, and Fr. Kyrillos Guirguis.
In addition, participated in this event Archdeacon Efrayem Soliman, Archdeacon Gabriel Hanna, Archdeacon Takla Labib, Deacon George Tadrous, and Deacon Antonious Yacoub.
