Clarification
I received some questions about the reason of the suspension of our Church theological dialogue with the Catholic Church .
According to the recommendation of the Standing Committee which the Holy Synod approved in the Holy Synod meeting on Thursday March 7, 2024 there are two reasons:
1- To evaluate the outcome of the Dialogue in the past twenty years ( 2004-2024)
2- The recent change of the position of the Catholic Church towards the homosexuals

وردت لنا عدة تساؤلات بخصوص سبب تعليق الحوار مع الكاثوليك
السبب كما هو واضح من نص توصية اللجنة الدائمة والتي وافق عليها المجمع المقدس في في جلسة الخميس الموافق ٧ مارس ٢٠٢٤
١- تقييم نتائج الحوار الاهوتي خلال العشرين العام الماضيين
٢- تغير موقف الكنيسة الكاثوليكية من جهة المثليين
