General Meeting of the Holy Synod – March 2024
The Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church held an official session on Thursday morning, March 7th, 2024, led by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, at the papal residence in St. Bishoy Monastery, Wadi El-Natrun, where 110 members of Metropolitans and Bishops attended. On Friday, March 1, 2024, the Diocese community gathered under the leadership of our father in Christ, His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion accompanied by His Grace Bishop Abraham and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, to bid farewell to the beloved father, Hegumen Raphael Hanna, who departed into eternal rest on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the age of 67.
