St. Stephen the Protodeacon

On Thursday, June 20, 2013, His Grace Bishop Serapion ordained a new celibate deacon for the service of the St. Paul Brotherhood in the Diocese.

St. Stephen the ProtodeaconThe servant, Beshoie Makar, was ordained as Deacon Theophilus Paul to continue his service in the Diocese. Bishop Serapion gave him an initial assignment of serving the diocesan Coptic Clubs and sports leagues in addition to his other services within the St. Paul Brotherhood.

We congratulate Deacon Theophilus and offer our prayers that God may grant him the fruit of the Holy Spirit through the guidance of our father, Bishop Serapion.

I love to read the reading of the kneeling prayers on June 23. I did not see the Bible reading or the Kneeling prayer so I could educate myself
